The 24th China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET 2019), organized by Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE), will kick off in Beijing, Wuhan, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen from 23rd March to 31st March 2019. Meanwhile, China Study Abroad Forum 2019 (CSAF 2019) will be held on 22nd March in Beijing. On behalf of CSCSE, I would like to extend a formal invitation for the exhibition.
China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET), approved by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, is held annually in major cities of China. CIEET is committed to providing students with timely, comprehensive and professional study abroad information and providing all round, multi-level promotion service for exhibitors as well as establishing a platform for promoting exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign institutions of higher education. Since its first series in 1999, over 2400 universities and institutions from 56 countries have participated in the
exhibition and showcased their educational opportunities to over 1.45 million visitors. CIEET has been acknowledged as one of the influential international education event through years of intensive brand-feeding. While, CSAF aims to build up a high-level dialogue platform for international education specialists and provide a valuable networking opportunity for domestic and overseas partners of CSCSE. It has played an important role in fostering a deeper understanding of different education policies and systems and the future development of education.
In recent years, with a view to a further opening-up of China’s higher education, Chinese government encourages students study abroad, overseas students study in China and mutual exchanges of higher education institutions, and thus promote the international exchange and cooperation of China’s education to a higher level. CSCSE responds positively to the call of the government to offer various opportunities for students to reach out qualified overseas universities and enable academic communications among institutions both from home and overseas through the fair. CIEET will renovate the form of the exhibition, enrich the content, highlight its features, and finally establish a quality service platform by providing more precisely service to exhibitors and visitors. CIEET will, as usual, attract universities and institutions from all over the world to participate in. A large number of universities from top destinations for study abroad will join the exhibition in the form of national pavilion to introduce their education systems and showcase academic strengths to audiences. CSCSE will also invite universities from the countries along “the Belt and Road” to attend.
During the exhibition, a number of supporting activities will be held to promote mutual understanding and effective communication. CSCSE will continue to work with foreign embassies and local educational administrations in China to hold lectures on various topics in relation with overseas study, such as the introduction to the latest overseas educational policies, pre-departure preparations and so on. As the prelude of the CIEET, CSAF serves as a platform that enables dialogues among partners and peers to promote international higher education exchanges and cooperation, which has been recognized as a top level professional study abroad event in China. By addressing key issues relating to the internationalization of Chinese higher education and Chinese students’ going abroad, CSAF attracts international education leaders, academics and professionals to share their views and experiences, and develop effective strategies to overcome common challenges of increasing students mobility in the world. Meanwhile, with active discussions from various perspectives, CSAF also provides a valuable networking opportunity for CSCSE partner institutions from both China and overseas. The one-day forum followed by a networking reception would not only strengthen existing partnerships among CSCSE partners but also inspire new collaborations between Chinese and foreign institutions in all creative ways. CSAF 2019 will invite government officials, specialists, scholars and representatives of universities to hold dialogues and discussions on the issues related to study abroad.
It marks the 30th anniversary of the founding of CSCSE in 2019. To celebrate the anniversary, CSCSE will fully display our service through the various activities during the exhibition. It is our sincere hope that the exhibiting universities and institutions could fully participate in the CIEET to showcase the strengths and help to pave the way for Chinese students to pursue their study overseas successfully.
Look forward to meeting you in CIEET 2019!
